Most of the villager here making batik,process of making batik you can observe also here. There, batik making has evolved to become one of the greatest art forms of Asia. The second destination of this trip will be stop,at Kertha Gosa.It is located in the heart of Semarapura town,Klungkung Regency and its name derived from Sanskrit words,namely Kertha meaning peaceful and Gosa from word Gosita meaning announcement.On that account,the phrase Kertha Gosa conveys a building of jurisdiction in the form of pavilion used by the kings to announce the legislation,jurisdiction,penalization and so forth. Here also is Taman Gili,a floating pavilion(it seems to float because it is indeed deliberately founded in the middle of fish pond).Decorative paintings on the ceiling of Kertha Gosa are painted with narrative motifs. Kertha Gosa was founded in 18th century,during the Dutch administration(1908-1942) was used as a court of justice for alleged criminals and lawbreakers.At same complex,there is also museum which was formerly the Dutch High School. Goa Lawah (Bat Cave Temple)
Then the Third destination,we will drive you to Goa Lawah-Bat Cave Temple.This temple located in Pesingahan Village, Klungkung Regency and standing up between the coast and hills with a cave inhabited by thousands of fruit Bats. The temple built in 11th century by priest Mpu Kuturan or Mpu Rajakerta, this priest who created 4 concepts of temple in Bali. This is one important temple located near the ocean, specially use for "Nyegara Gunung" ritual even, which is commonly done by Hindu in performed the ceremony of Pitra Yadnya (Purification process of the soul after being cremated through cremation ceremony). It is located in the eastern part of Bali,around 65 kilometers drive to the east from Denpasar. Tenganan has many interesting traditions such as a ritual and art tradition especially Mekare-kare or Perang Pandan (the fight of Pandanus leaves) which takes place only once the year during a festival. .Tenganan is also well known for its Geringsing cloth or double ikat. It is situated on the foot Abang Hill with cool temperature in particular night time or morning time. Tirta Gangga Park is built in the year of 1948 by the Karangasem King of Anak Agung Agung Angluerah Ketut Karangasem. Before this park is found, there is big wellspring found in this area which the local society believe that this water come from the land is holy spring therefore they call this place is Embukan means wellspring. According to the local believe that this wellspring functioning as a bath place for the god and also used as drinking water for the local community from the nearest village.
